Here's the scoop

Who am us anyway?

Eva MoonEva Moon hails from Seattle, and her songs hit your ears like a double shot of espresso. Far from your typical singer-songwriter fare, they’re ironic, energetic commentaries on modern life - sexy comic jazz journey in the company of terrorist cats, Nigerian bank managers, sexy UPS guys, psychotic baristas and more. If you've ever lost your heart to a chocolate bar, frightened an innocent child, or traded a man for a vibrator, she has a song for you.

Eva’s musical background is equally eclectic. Originally from L.A., she’s currently enjoying the pop scene, but grew up playing Eastern European Gypsy music with Balkanarama, a hot party band in Seattle, and other groups on both coasts and in Eastern Europe.

Eva is equally at home opening for mainstream acts or appearing on a more offbeat bill. Her unique material complements other performers, and her ironic bemusement provides a welcome break from typical singer-songwriter angst. She’s flexible, professional and obsessively on time.

Dave QuickDave Quick has two things in common with many of the great guitarists of the twentieth century; he has four fingers and an opposable thumb on each hand. After more than three decades of experience Dave has developed the uncanny ability to make himself sound better with each beer the audience consumes.

Sue NiemannSue Niemann, ex-ballerina and two-time Washington State baton champion, knows a bit about twirling things. But don't encourage her to play with fire, and do not call her a bun head. She was a multi-instrumentalist with the late Seattle band, The Cociks, and performs with Balkanarama.

Alumni

Tym Parsons is the guitarist on our CD, Something Brewing. Just after finishing the CD, he left to run the Pacific Information Centre at the University of the South Pacific on Fiji. We wish him all the best (and envy him a little) in his new life in paradise.

Brita Rae Borough played guitar with use in 2004, but has now moved on to other musical projects. We'll miss her excellent chops and beautiful red Gretsch guitar. Good luck, Brita!
