I opened the envelope and I now know where I’ll be going tomorrow morning. Now I just need to pack!
I lived in my parents house through college, then with a roommate for a short while, and with my husband since then. I’ve never lived alone and I am not accustomed to spending time alone. This is part of the challenge and the appeal of this trip. Will my own company be enough? Who am I without people to talk to or cook for or walk with? Without my cats? I want to find out.
Of course I won’t be entirely alone as long as you are with me.
